About the Event 

OutSystems Partner Summit 2026 took place on September 7–8, 2026 at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove, bringing together OutSystems partners from across multiple markets. The annual summit is where OutSystems shares its strategic direction, product roadmap and new programs for its partner ecosystem. 

As an OutSystems Certified Partner for many years, BnK attended with a delegation including its Senior Vice President (SVP), Singapore Branch Director, Head of Business Development and OutSystems Tech Lead. This combination allowed BnK to engage with the event from strategic, commercial and technical perspectives at once. 

BnK at the Summit 

The BnK delegation took part in the Technical Enablement and Sales Enablement sessions, which focused on the platform's new capabilities and on approaches to delivering AI solutions for enterprises. At the Hackathon kickoff, BnK formed a team to work hands-on with OutSystems' new Agentic AI toolset, assessing how these tools can be applied in real-world projects. 

Beyond the core program, the delegation joined panel discussions, networking sessions with partners across the region, and the Gala Dinner celebrating the Partner Awards 2026. 

Key Announcements from OutSystems 

Repositioning as an Agentic Systems Platform 

The most significant change this year is OutSystems' repositioning from a low-code platform to an Agentic Systems Platform. The new positioning is built on four pillars: Govern, centralized governance of applications and agents across the enterprise; Engineer with Mentor, AI that supports developers throughout application development; Orchestrate with Agent Workbench, coordinating multiple agents working together; and Accelerate with Industry Solutions, offering prebuilt industry-specific solutions. 

A2A and Bidirectional MCP 

OutSystems officially launched Agent-to-Agent (A2A) and bidirectional Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, enabling connections to both internal systems and external AI coding tools, along with an open-source repository. This is a key step in allowing agents built on OutSystems to integrate with an enterprise's existing technology landscape. 

Headline Metrics 

According to figures OutSystems shared at the event, Mentor has generated more than 6,000 applications, with developers accepting 98% of AI-generated output. The platform delivers a 363% ROI according to Forrester research, ranks first in customer satisfaction on G2, and has been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for nine consecutive years. 

The OSRE Model 

OutSystems also introduced OSRE, an AI-driven automated application generation model. It shortens the journey from idea to working application to around one month, with approximately 70% of features already complete when handed over to partners. The remaining work, including business logic refinement, customization and quality assurance, is carried out by the implementation partner. 

BnK's Perspective: Five Trends Shaping the Market 

Enterprise AI is shifting from experimentation to measurable impact. The era of demos and pilot projects is drawing to a close. Total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) have become the central criteria in enterprise AI investment decisions. 

The gap between expectations and results remains wide. According to data shared at the event, 76% of enterprises believe AI creates value, yet only 7% can demonstrate clear ROI. Enterprise inference costs have risen 4.1 times compared to last year, while only 12% of enterprises have managed to both grow revenue and reduce costs through AI. This points to a growing need for implementation partners that can deliver measurable value. 

Security of AI-generated code is a risk that must be managed. As much as 45% of AI-generated code fails to meet security standards. In highly regulated industries such as finance and insurance, review and hardening by experienced engineers before deployment to production is essential. With an information security management system certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, BnK applies this principle across its entire delivery process.
